Large, handsome, brown and tan castrated male who will be three in April. Shortly after Kass arrived he underwent some tests and was diagnosed with an under active thyroid. He also had xrays on his hips and stifle. Kass’s thyroid is now stable and the arthritis in his stifle is responding well to a specialist diet and medication. In no way do these conditions hinder him. He is very active and loves his walks and is ready to go to his permanent home. Kass is looking for a home as an only dog or with a quiet bitch, not because of temperament issues, but for Kass’s welfare because he is a big strong dog who does not need to play wild games putting too much strain on his hind legs. At times a somewhat clumsy, boisterous individual he will not be rehomed with toddlers as he might unintentionally knock a small child over. A really loving dog who just wants to be your companion. Kass learns quickly and is full of fun. Lead training coming along but can still be a bit of a tank if he sees something that excites him! Was going out walking with Lulu before she left and now goes to the beach with Jenna two girls who know how to keep a boy in his place! Travels best if he cannot focus on passing cars!
- Brown & Tan Dobermann Dog, Neutered & Microchipped
- D.O.B. April 2010 with Up-to-date vaccinations
- Affectionate and something of a comedian.
- Attended Dog Socialisation class on 4th February and behaved very well.
- Gaining confidence and loves meeting new people now.
- Loves going out in car but can be noisy on beach trips.
Recently Kass has teamed up with Big Ellie and they are firm friends. Ellie tolerates the naughty, mischievous Kass and when he is being a pain one look keeps Kass in his place. When the sun is shining they like lounging around in the garden together.
Kass will make someone a great companion he will benefit from continued socialization and lead manners improving but they still need working on. In the right hands will make experienced Dobermann or someone used to handling large boisterous dogs a proud owner. Loves pottering around the garden when weather allows. Being rehomed through no fault of his own. Enquiries in the first instance to Pam on (01346) 532227.
